The Islip Art Museum's Carriage House becomes artist studios from
February through May, the above images are from the open studio event
that took place in early May. The Islip Art Museum is the leading
exhibition space for contemporary art on Long Island. The Museum
presents five exhibitions a year in its main galleries. During the
winter months, its Carriage House becomes artists' studios and those
studios become open to the public in May. Also included in this years
In Process are Marie Lorenz and Melissa Brown. A landmark structure next to the Islip Art Museum, the Carriage House is Long Island's center for experimental art.
